For fashion and apparel brands
HTIMES develops watches for fashion and apparel brands that want a watch to sit beside their clothing, bags and accessories as part of the same wardrobe — not a separate product that only carries the logo. You bring the brand. We handle design development, sampling and production, and plan every stage around your seasons. Once the sample is approved, most first runs are between 100 and 300 pieces per design.

Why Fashion Brands Add a Watch
Your customers already style one
A watch is the accessory people wear every day with your clothes. Today it carries someone else’s name.
It completes the look
Shown beside bags and on mannequins, a watch becomes a natural add-on to an outfit the customer has already chosen.
It can follow your seasons
New colours and new bag or apparel releases can bring a new watch with them, year after year.
What Usually Holds Fashion Brands Back
| What brands worry about | How we handle it |
|---|---|
| “It will look like a logo on a generic watch.” | We start from your own products — the colours of your leather goods, a hardware finish, your typeface — so the watch reads as part of your range before anyone sees the logo. |
| “We don’t have a watch team.” | You don’t need one. You approve the renderings, the sample and the production standard; we handle everything in between. |
| “Our calendar is seasonal.” | We plan backwards from your launch: a month or more for design and approval, around 30–45 days for the sample and around 45–60 days for production. |
Case Study: A Menswear Brand Across Several Hundred Stores

The brand. A menswear brand selling clothing, bags and accessories through several hundred stores.
The challenge. The watches had to look like part of the same wardrobe as its bags and clothing — not a separate product that only carries the logo.
What we developed. Men’s watches that follow the brand’s business and casual styles, in colours that sit naturally beside its leather goods. At the first sample, the dial logo looked ordinary next to the leather goods, so we changed how the logo was applied on the dial and the caseback. The second sample was approved, with the overall design unchanged.
The result. Watches became a steady category across several hundred stores, shown at the till and on mannequins. New models now launch each year alongside the season’s colours and new bag releases.
What We Develop Around Your Brand
- Dial — your colours, logo and the details customers already recognise from your clothing
- Case — a proven existing case, or one shaped for you
- Strap — leather, fabric or metal, matched to your leather goods and hardware
- Caseback — your logo, a collection name or an edition number
- Packaging — a box that sits naturally beside your bags and accessories, or your own
How a Collection Comes Together
| Stage | What you approve | Allow |
|---|---|---|
| Brief & NDA | Your brand, references, target retail price, quantity in mind and launch date. The NDA is signed before any artwork is shared. | First week |
| Design & approval | Renderings, revised with you until the design is final. | A month or more |
| Sample | A physical sample in final materials. Confirm your quantity now, so production can start the day the sample is approved. | Around 30–45 days |
| Production & delivery | Every piece checked against the approved sample. | Around 45–60 days |
For most brands, a first collection takes around four months or more from brief to delivery. Once the sample is approved, most first runs are between 100 and 300 pieces per design. See the full timeline.
What You Can Count On
- Your design stays yours — an NDA before any artwork is shared, renewed annually. Drawings are split by component, so no supplier ever sees the complete watch.
- One approved reference — every production piece is checked against the sample you signed off.
- Clear quotes — a one-time development fee per design, from around $500 and often around $1,000, plus a unit price itemised by component. We quote after seeing your design. How we quote.
- Compliance — CE and RoHS as standard.
Questions Brands Ask First
Do we need any watch experience?
No. You bring the brand and approve each stage; we handle design development, sampling and production.
Can the watches follow our seasons?
Yes. Many fashion partners add new models each year, developed alongside the season’s colours and new releases. Reorders use the same tooling, with no new development fee.
How many pieces is a first run?
Once the sample is approved, most first runs are between 100 and 300 pieces per design.
What if the first sample isn’t right?
We revise it and sample again. In the menswear case above, the second sample was approved after one change to how the logo was applied.
How long does it take?
Around four months or more for most brands: a month or more for design and approval, around 30–45 days for the sample and around 45–60 days for production.
