For sports clubs, federations and event organisers
HTIMES develops commemorative watches for sports clubs and events — from international multi-sport games to club anniversaries and school sports days. The watch carries the event’s identity through a few clear details, every piece can be numbered, and development is planned backwards from the day your venue shop and online store open. Once the sample is approved, most first runs are between 100 and 300 pieces per design.

Why Clubs and Events Add a Watch
A keepsake that lasts
Caps, scarves and T-shirts are forgotten soon after the event. Fans keep wearing a watch long after the final whistle.
A higher-value merchandise item
A watch adds more to merchandise revenue with each sale than most souvenirs.
Something to offer sponsors
Even a school sports day can bring in sponsors, and a co-branded watch can be part of what the event and its sponsors offer.
What Usually Holds Clubs and Organisers Back
| What brands worry about | How we handle it |
|---|---|
| “The date cannot move.” | We plan backwards from the day the shop opens and build in buffer. For finisher pieces, a pre-order before the event with delivery afterwards takes the pressure off the date and lets you engrave real results. |
| “A logo on a dial isn’t a keepsake.” | We design around what marks the moment — the event’s identity, its colours, its year, the edition number — on a few clear details rather than covering the whole watch. |
| “We already have an official watch partner.” | Check your partnership agreement first, as many official watch partnerships are exclusive. If yours is, we can still work on categories it doesn’t cover. |
Case Study: Co-Branded Watches as Official Event Merchandise

The brand. Sporting events at every scale, from large international and regional multi-sport games to smaller competitions and school sports days, selling through the venue shop and the event’s official online store.
The challenge. Official merchandise is a revenue stream, but most souvenirs are low-priced and forgotten soon after the event. And the deadline is fixed: the watches must be delivered before the shop and the online store open.
What we developed. A co-branded commemorative watch carrying the event’s identity on a few clear details. Design, sampling, approval and delivery were all planned backwards from the shop opening date.
The result. A higher-value merchandise item that adds more to revenue with each sale — and one fans keep wearing after the event.
From the Moment to the Wrist
- Dial — the event’s identity, colours or year, as a clear detail
- Caseback — an edition number on every piece, or individual engraving — a name, a squad number, a finish time
- Strap — in the club or event colours
- Edition — numbered in sequence, or with special numbering for players, officials and sponsors
- Packaging — a presentation box that feels like a keepsake, not a giveaway
How a Collection Comes Together
| Stage | What you approve | Allow |
|---|---|---|
| Brief & NDA | Your brand, references, target retail price, quantity in mind and launch date. The NDA is signed before any artwork is shared. | First week |
| Design & approval | Renderings, revised with you until the design is final. | A month or more |
| Sample | A physical sample in final materials. Confirm your quantity now, so production can start the day the sample is approved. | Around 30–45 days |
| Production & delivery | Every piece checked against the approved sample. | Around 45–60 days |
For most brands, a first collection takes around four months or more from brief to delivery. Once the sample is approved, most first runs are between 100 and 300 pieces per design. See the full timeline.
What You Can Count On
- Your design stays yours — an NDA before any artwork is shared, renewed annually. Drawings are split by component, so no supplier ever sees the complete watch.
- One approved reference — every production piece is checked against the sample you signed off.
- Clear quotes — a one-time development fee per design, from around $500 and often around $1,000, plus a unit price itemised by component. We quote after seeing your design. How we quote.
- Compliance — CE and RoHS as standard.
Questions Brands Ask First
Can the watches be ready before our event?
Yes, if we start early enough. We plan backwards from the shop opening date: a month or more for design and approval, around 30–45 days for the sample and around 45–60 days for production, plus buffer.
Can every piece carry its own number?
Yes. Every piece can carry a unique number, in sequence or following a special numbering rule.
How many should we order?
Once the sample is approved, most first runs are between 100 and 300 pieces per design. A pre-order open to members or registered athletes tells you the number before production starts.
Can sponsors appear on the watch?
Yes, where your agreements allow it. Sponsor marks are usually kept to the caseback or packaging so the event stays the focus.
Do you work with smaller events and clubs?
Yes. We work with events from international games to school sports days, and with clubs marking an anniversary, a title or a new season.
